Following an investment in its new UK head office, Spirotech has launched its free training sessions for domestic installers.

The full-day course is held at Spirotech’s new UK training centre at its head office in Birmingham and is home to the Spirotech ‘engine room’. Spirotech said the engine room is a fully fitted out test and demo facility that allows installers to see first-hand how the company’s products can protect, maintain and extend heating system efficiency.

The day is split into a combination of theory and practical, it noted, covering everything from deaeration and dirt removal to hydraulic balancing. Spirotech said there will also be the opportunity to get hands-on experience with its range of solutions, including the SpiroVent RV2 deaerator and SpiroTrap MB3 dirt separator, SpiroCross AX-J, and EVN expansion vessels.

The company said that there will also be a chance to register as a Spirotech Approved Installer.

Rob Jacques, UK business unit director at Spirotech, said: “Given the ongoing push to improve the quality and performance of heating systems – both to reduce energy consumption and minimise carbon emissions – it is more important than ever that installers are aware of the crucial role water quality plays in this. That’s why we’re excited to be launching our new training sessions for domestic and light commercial installers, which will provide them with the knowledge needed to treat and maintain heating systems.

“Spirotech was at the very forefront of deaeration when it pioneered the concept 60 years ago, and it’s great to be able to share our decades of technical experience and expertise with leading engineers at our training events. These training sessions are also a great way to stay in touch with our customer base and are very much a forum for sharing and discussing views, product feedback, and new ideas.”

Training sessions are currently available on the following dates;

  • Wednesday 7 August
  • Wednesday 21 August
  • Wednesday 4 September
  • Wednesday 18 September
