Stiebel Eltron UK is set to host an introduction to heat pumps for homeowners.
Hosting a free-to-join webinar on 28 October from 6.30pm to 7.30pm, the company said it will provide homeowners with top-tips and expert guidance on utilising a heat pump effectively, showing them how the technology can keep their home warm in the winter and cool during the summer months.
Stiebel Eltron UK’s research found that heat pumps in a home setting emit almost 95% fewer carbon emissions annually than a traditional gas boiler, and the webinar will show how heat pumps work effectively in all kinds of properties, from new builds to apartments to listed buildings.
It will also address common misconceptions around heat pumps, covering topics including a home’s suitability for the technology, as well as funding options.
Additionally, it will explore heat pump designs in a building, explaining the process of planning a heat pump solution in a home, with the session being followed by a Q&A with Stiebel Eltron’s technicians.
Mark McManus, Stiebel Eltron UK’s managing director, said: “We know that consumers are keen to explore the possibility of installing a heat pump in their home, but aren’t necessarily sure where to start.
“The Homeowners’ Introduction to Heat Pumps is designed to bridge this gap, allowing us to provide clear, practical advice on how to make the switch, as well as outlining the benefits and funding options available so attendees have all the information they need to make a decision.
“We’d encourage anyone interested in purchasing a heat pump to join us on 28 October.
“For those who have already decided to install a heat pump, whatever your project we offer a free design and specification service to help you get the best result, as well as helping you to find trained installers in your local area to see it come to fruition. Just give us a call and we’ll be happy to help.”
