Stiebel Eltron UK is to host an open day where it will highlight the benefits of heat pumps among consumers and installers alike. It is set to take place at the company’s headquarters in Bromborough on Saturday 24 February from 10am until 2pm.
Stiebel Eltron stated that it is hosting the event to share its knowledge in a bid to increase the adoption of heat pumps across the UK throughout 2024 and beyond.
Giving them hands-on experience with heat pumps, the company said it aims to educate and connect homeowners with installer partners during the event in a bid to see them transition to renewable heating solutions seamlessly.
Attendees will gain access to a variety of both air and ground source heat pumps during the event, a statement said. They will also learn from the company’s technicians on how they can work in home settings, their performance and the energy savings they can deliver, it noted.
The company added that its team will also be on hand to offer advice on whether those attending are eligible for, and likely to benefit from the government’s £7,500 heat pump grant scheme, which is designed to help consumers transition away from gas boilers.
Meanwhile, installers will have the opportunity to meet Stiebel Eltron’s installer partners, who will share their heat pump technology knowledge, as well as providing information about the training and support package the company offers to all installers it works with.
Mark McManus, Stiebel Eltron UK’s managing director, said: “Consumers are increasingly looking to move away from gas boilers and what we want to do is give them the information they need to make an informed decision.
“The aim of is by no means to give them a hard sell, but simply to share our years of knowledge and expertise with a view to helping people who are thinking about using a heat pump in their homes.
“But it’s also about giving installers confidence in the product so that they have the know-how to advise their customers on the best heat pump they should use, as well as being able to outline the benefits they will bring.
“Demand for heat pumps is only going to grow in 2024, and Stiebel Eltron is committed to not only meeting this demand, but also offering support for both consumers and installers in the years ahead.”
