Toolstation has announced the addition of a new product department to its collection.
The retailer said it is now stocking over 400 boiler parts to help provide households with a quick fix for heating issues over autumn and winter.
Research from Toolstation found that the third Monday of October is often the busiest time for boiler switch-ons, with 33% of the population planning for this date.
The research also found that 20% do not check their boilers ahead of the winter period, despite the recommendation of regular checks, whilst 21% have not checked their boiler in the last five years.
Toolstation said its new range of spare parts has been introduced to help both households and tradespeople fix any heating issues as quickly and efficiently as possible.
All boiler parts are listed with the manufacturer’s part ID number, it added, simplifying the process for customers to find the correct part for their boiler system.
Toolstation also said its multi-channel service means customers can order online on the company’s website or on the Toolstation App, with free next day delivery available on any orders before 4pm, and a click & collect system allowing customers to pick up the spare part from their local store.
Naeem Adam, a senior category manager from Toolstation, said: “Autumn is the most common period for boiler issues as households switch on their heating after several months of inactivity. Our new range aims to assist people in fixing any issues as quickly as possible to ensure they keep their home cosy throughout autumn and winter, with a selection of great value spare parts that cater to boilers from all major brands.”
