Triton Showers has underlined its commitment to sustainability by partnering with environmental charity The Heart of England Forest.
The midlands-based organisation is dedicated to creating and conserving a 30,000-acre forest, aiming to plant 13 million native broadleaf trees in order to achieve this goal.
As a ‘Woodland Wonder’ partner in 2021, Triton is supporting The Heart of England Forest to plant over 330 new trees, covering more than half an acre.
David Tutton, managing director at Triton Showers, said: “Sustainability is central to what we do as a company, whether that’s informing product R&D or providing an energy and water savings calculator to address domestic wastage. As a business, we have halved our own carbon footprint since 2014, and have committed to achieving carbon net-zero by 2025.
“Further to this, we have been a zero to landfill company since 2015, with all of our waste sorted and sent for recycling at organisations that specialise in certain materials. We are committed to reducing our impact on the environment across our business operations, so when we saw the fantastic work being done by The Heart of England Forest, we wanted to offer our support in working towards their important ambition.”
