Wolseley and Panasonic Heating & Cooling have announced an enhanced collaboration aimed at transforming the landscape of renewable heating technologies.

According to a company statement, the collaboration is set to offer a comprehensive package designed explicitly for installers retrofitting properties with sustainable, energy-efficient systems.

As the demand for renewable heating technologies continues to grow, Wolseley and Panasonic Heating & Cooling said they are joining forces to provide “unparalleled support” to installers and the commercial sector in transitioning from traditional gas boilers to eco-friendly solutions. This initiative will promote the adoption of hydronics, DX and refrigerant solutions, it noted.

The statement said that the collaboration is set to deliver a training programme for installers, equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively implement and maintain these innovative systems. This comprehensive training will cover everything from initial installation to commissioning support, it cited.

John Hancock, chief operating officer at Wolseley Group, said: “Together with Panasonic Heating & Cooling, we are committed to leading the charge in the renewable heating sector to offer the full solution to our customer base. This collaboration enables us to provide installers with the training and resources they need to deliver cutting-edge, energy-efficient solutions to their customers.”

Jose Alves, regional director for Panasonic Heating & Cooling UK, Ireland and the Netherlands, added: “We are excited to deepen our collaboration with Wolseley. Our combined efforts will not only support installers but also contribute significantly to reducing carbon footprints and promoting sustainability in heating solutions from the diverse range of products we offer to the UK market.”
