Wolseley Group has announced that it has chosen to support Band of Builders (BoB) as its new charity partner for the next 24 months.
BoB is a national construction charity that completes practical projects to help members of the UK construction industry and their families who are battling illness or injury.
Simon Gray, chief executive officer at Wolseley Group, said: “Band of Builders is a fantastic charity to support for our industry, and together, we believe we can have a positive impact. Our new partnership has been received incredibly well across our business and we look forward to supporting its future projects.”
Gavin Crane, chief executive officer at BoB, added: “We are delighted that Wolseley has chosen BoB as its charity partner, and we look forward to a close working relationship that will help us reach a wider audience across the construction industry in the UK. This partnership is vitally important in enabling us to deliver more projects where volunteers come together to support their peers through renovations or repairs that make a real difference to their lives. It’s also a great opportunity to highlight the other services BoB offers – particularly our mental health and wellbeing support, which we know is much needed across the construction industry right now.”
