Worcester, Bosch Group has strengthened its support for the emerging connected appliances market by appointing a dedicated Controls & Connectivity team within its award-winning Technical Support department.
The five-strong team of technical experts will be fully dedicated to responding to all manner of practical questions and queries relating to Worcester’s growing range of smart and connected technologies, as well as those available via third-party manufacturers.
With the nature of technical queries relating to controls and connected products often concerning software as well as hardware, Worcester’s new team has been selected on the basis of their knowledge and experience in the digital arena. As well as being able to address queries over the phone, the team will also have access to Worcester’s video calling platforms to offer added visual guidance.
Martyn Bridges, director of technical communication and product management, said: “The market for smart and connected technologies is growing rapidly, so we’re keen to be the first manufacturer in the industry ensure installers and their customers have a dedicated team of experts they can call upon, no matter how complex their query might be.
“The nature of technical queries in this area tend to be quite different to those concerning boilers and heating appliances, so it seems logical to have expertise in this area.”
