Manufacturer of heating and hot water technologies, Worcester, Bosch Group, has given its support to the Hot Water Association’s (HWA) members’ Charter.
The HWA Charter Code of Practice has been introduced to offer consumers quality assurance, product satisfaction, and confidence that the manufacturer of their heating and hot water appliances will deliver a service beyond the supply of the product.
The independently-audited Charter scheme means that members are backed by an unbiased third-party authority which allows consumers to work with organisations recognised for maintaining the highest standards.
Martyn Bridges, director of marketing and technical support at Worcester, Bosch Group, said: “With the products and services supplied by the heating and hot water industry playing such an important role in UK homes, it is absolutely vital that we have initiatives in place which promote the highest standards.
“By giving an independent endorsement, the HWA Charter not only assures consumers of the quality they can expect from an accredited business, but also gives engineers some exceptional standards to adhere to, which can only reflect well on our industry.”
