Worcester Bosch has announced the relaunch of its consumer sustainability campaign, titled ‘Green Heating Heroes’, with the aim to help consumers think greener when it comes to their home heating in order to help save on bills and reduce their carbon footprint.
With over 1,000 installers already part of the campaign, any who enlist will be part of a UK wide ensemble of installers committed to providing support and advice to those customers who are looking for sustainable ways to heat their homes, the company said.
According to research it cited by the Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) only 52% of consumers are aware of renewable heating systems, and so there is a need to highlight and educate around low carbon alternatives.
Each installer who signs up will receive a Green Hero t-shirt, van sticker and campaign social content to promote their green credentials to their customers.
Later this month, they’ll also receive new guidance in the form of a toolkit full of helpful facts and information they can provide customers who are considering a switch to greener home heating, plus additional energy saving tips.
