As part of exciting new changes to its aftersales structure, Baxi Heating has appointed marketing director, Andrew Keating, to the combined role of UK aftersales and marketing director.
The decision was taken to restructure its UK aftersales arm in anticipation of fundamental changes predicted for the UK boiler market. By bringing together the service, spares and digital marketing activities of the business, Baxi Heating is in a great position to adapt to the digitalisation of the industry and provide even greater benefits to customers.
Following five successful years as Baxi Heating’s marketing director, Andrew will now assume leadership of Baxi Customer Support and Baxi Genuine Parts alongside his existing marketing responsibilities.
With over ten years of experience in the heating and plumbing industry, and two decades working in customer-focused roles, Andrew is ideally placed to bring together aftersales service and marketing into a single entity for the business.
Andrew said: “With the industry undergoing a period of rapid evolution – due in no small part to the rise of digitalisation – we, as a business, believe it is vital that we adapt to meet those changes and optimise our services. The decision to bring aftersales and marketing together is a demonstration of our commitment to supporting both installers and end-users, and we anticipate highly positive results.”
