FireAngel has appointed Martin Phillips to trade product manager to further expand its product development capabilities to support installers in fulfilling the increasing demands of the UK housing sector.
Martin has over 25 years’ experience throughout the electrical engineering sector. the company has said that he will be applying his knowledge in product development and application to support FireAngel in accelerating its product development journey throughout 2023.
According to a statement, this includes working in partnership with FireAngel’s operations and development divisions to extend its dedication to combining the ‘highest standards’ of software and hardware together to achieve compliant alarm systems.
Martin said: “It’s a very exciting time to be joining the team here at FireAngel. As a customer-centric business, we are committed to understanding exactly what our customers require, then designing and developing certified products that add real value to their lives.
“Whilst ensuring standalone alarms continue to seamlessly transition with connectivity, we are also dedicated to incorporating environmental sensing technologies into our alarms to address external environmental factors, such as damp and mould. This is an issue that has been made all the more prevalent by fuel poverty, so it is imperative that we build the necessary requirements into our product development to provide installers and their customers with all-round protection.”
