Swale Heating is refocusing on customer service and embarking on an ambitious expansion drive following the appointment of David Mathieson as its new managing director.
Already one of the largest independently-owned heating services firms in the South East, the new man at the helm has set his sights on doubling the size of the business within five years and extending its operations across the UK.
A chartered civil engineer and hugely experienced business leader, David is now responsible for expanding an award-winning company which has been providing heating services to domestic customers, public and private sector landlords and the commercial sector for 44 years.
He heads up a highly talented and experienced senior management team working alongside chairman Ian Pierson who, as a 22-year-old entrepreneur, founded Swale Heating in 1972.
He has joined Swale Heating from property consulting business Mouchel, where he was MD of its property and assets division. He was responsible for successfully growing a business which employed 600 staff and had a £45m turnover, helping clients in the public and private sector to maximise the efficient running of their property assets and estates.
