Roca Group UK has appointed Anthony Walker as business development manager to the recently expanded sales team. His appointment follows Roca’s investment in the UK sales team last August when six new managers came on board.
Anthony said: “My experience in the bathroom industry goes back 22 years! I was with distributors SmithsBriten for 18 years, where I sold various brands including Roca, then in 2018 I went to Ideal Bathrooms, selling multiple brands to merchant and retail customers.
“The challenges in my role? Well, Laufen is very established in my area but that doesn’t mean there aren’t gaps where we can grow the brand further. For Roca, I look forward to establishing it as a specialist in all areas in the bathroom and in particular, Roca’s bathroom furniture offering which has strengthen in recent years thanks to fantastic new collections such as Ona, Tenet and Aleyda. I’m so looking forward to promoting Laufen, Royo and Armani/Roca, as well as going back to see my previous customers to discuss Roca.”
Jamie Welch, Roca UK’s field sales director, added: “Our aim is to grow Roca, Laufen, Royo and Armani/Roca brands in the UK market, increasing product awareness and driving sales. But, more than that, we want to be able foster both existing and new relationships with our customers. Having Anthony on board will help us achieve those aims in North Wales and the North West. I’m delighted to welcome him.”
