Sunderland-based Salamander Pumps has appointed Rhys Higgins as its new business development manager for the North West and Midlands.
Based in Nottingham, Rhys’ new role will see him focus on developing new and existing trading accounts, growing product sales, and increasing brand knowledge and recognition within the plumbing industry.
Rhys brings with him over seven years’ experience in the plumbing industry, including experience as area sales manager at BWT UK and showroom sales manager at City Plumbing Supplies.
He said: “I’m so excited to get stuck into my work at Salamander Pumps. It’s a market-leading brand with a fantastic product which I have great confidence in selling.
“I also really admire the company’s philosophy when it comes to developing the business and the outlook of how the industry will progress in the coming years.”
