The new range of high efficiency Evosta circulators from DAB Pumps provides energy savings and meets the European 2013 and 2015 legislation enforcing a reduction in energy consumption.
Designed for circulating hot water in domestic heating systems, the Evosta delivers high efficiency performance while minimising energy consumption. The pump reacts to system changes automatically and adapts the circulator performance accordingly. Evosta meets the 2013 and 2015 Energy Related Products (ErP) requirements (Energy Efficiency Index (EEI) ≤ 0.23) in line with European Directive 2009/125/EC.
Due to the fact that the Evosta is dimensionally the same as a traditional type pump it will replace, it is ideal for retrofit situations, where old three-speed circulators need to be replaced with head of four, five and six meters. Installation time is also saved thanks to a single sequential setting button and a traditional brass vent plug used to bleed the system and unlock the motor shaft if required.
The pump’s motor casing is manufactured from die-cast aluminium so the pump does not require any overload protection, providing added peace of mind when fitting.
Adam Ferneyhough, commercial manager for DAB Pumps, said: “Thanks to its advanced technology, the new range of Evosta circulators ensures high efficiency, bringing appreciable benefits in terms of energy savings. Evosta guarantees a 70% reduction in power consumption compared with traditional circulators and provides peace of mind for installers, knowing they will meet their 2015 EEI obligations.”
