Mitsubishi Electric has announced the launch of ME Engineer – a new and dedicated App that allows any installer or service engineer to access up-to-the-minute information on the company’s entire range of products.
“The App has been designed by engineers for engineers and provides access to all the latest important service and installation data for our complete range of air conditioning, heating, ventilation and controls,” said Steve Hayward, technical services and aftersales manager for the company.
It provides all of this information in one place via a tablet or smartphone and includes a refrigerant calculation tool for both the Splits and City Multi air conditioning systems, as well as a spare parts look up facility and a fault code finder for all available products with full description, cause and check procedures.
The App is available to download onto Apple, Android and Windows mobile devices and field engineers can also use it offline, whether that is to check a dipswitch setting or simply just to look up a thermistor value.
Mitsubishi Electric developers have designed the new App so that it can allow for new content updates within minutes. Information for the App is uploaded directly from the company’s in house service engineers and technical experts.
“This will not only help our customers whenever they are out on a job but it will also have a dramatic impact on the speed that we can provide service information to them as well”, added Steve.
“We’ve designed this for purpose so that we can offer our customers simple and easy access to these key functional engineering tools.”
With the addition of a ‘favourites’ options, users can set the App to instantly show the most used functions directly on start up.
