Move to new premises marks ESBE’s expansion in UK renewables market

2025 is set to be a landmark year in the growth of ESBE’s commitment to the UK market as the Swedish based hydronics solutions specialist switches to limited company status and appoints its sales director, Darren Myers as managing director. Meanwhile, the company will also be making other appointments at its new headquarters at Rossendale in Lancashire’s historic industrial heartland.

Darren said: “We’ve been around in the UK for many years now, but we wanted to show our commitment to our customer base. So, the parent company in Sweden and myself believed it was the right time to make the business a limited company and I am delighted to have been appointed as managing director and a UK board member. We’ll be basing staff at Rossendale and will be welcoming specifiers as well as customers to visit us. Business has been steady as the industry recovered from the pandemic and other economic shocks.

“However, the big objective I have had over the past couple of years has been to increase specifiers and installers’ knowledge to ensure the right product is being put into the different situations. This particularly applies to the heat pump market where you need a full flow valve, which is why we work with the top distributors to get the message out, and why we’ve done a massive amount on social media. We see this being fully reflected in the use of renewables for housebuilding – as well as the schools and other community buildings needed alongside new towns and villages: which creates new opportunities for us.”

Key product areas ESBE will be targeting during the coming year are VRGs to support the heat pump market, linear and control valves for commercial applications, circulation units to reduce labour and also consistently supporting the OEMs which the company and its distributors deal with

Darren added: “We are passionate about hydronic system solutions and always target the highest standards of quality and sustainability, as well as ease of installation for the products right across our range: which covers not only boilers and heat pumps, but underfloor heating, refrigeration and HVAC projects.”
