Fergus, a job management software, has revealed its top tips to get businesses prepared for 2025.
- Get paid on time
According to Fergus, job management software (JMS) allows businesses to stay in control. The company said that businesses can create and send invoices “in seconds” and “instantly” see which clients have paid and which ones still owe. If an invoice isn’t paid in 30 days, the system automatically sends a reminder to the customer.
- Keep clients in the loop
The company suggested that businesses can avoid confusion by clearly communicating their office hours, holiday closures and emergency contacts. Fergus said its JMS lets businesses send automated SMS messages to inform clients of their plans.
- Streamline admin and scheduling
Fergus stated that consolidating quotes, communication, job scheduling and invoicing into one system can “make life easier”.
- Fill 2025’s order book
Fergus said its new enquiry management feature makes handling new customer requests “a breeze”. With instructions for platforms like Wix and Squarespace, the company said that businesses can embed a custom enquiry form directly into their websites. Enquiries are automatically tracked in a dedicated dashboard and can also be added manually.
- Consider switching your JMS
The company said that if current job management software isn’t meeting the business’ needs, they should consider a switch for 2025.
