Grange Design has revealed the latest style bathrooms and shower room trends in 2025.

Clive Griffiths, manager at Grange Design, said: “Statement hardware continues to set the tone in today’s most popular design schemes, with bathrooms said to be the most commonly renovated interior space in 2024 according to the latest Houzz & Home Study. Considered the most frequently used room in the home which we start and finish the day in, the bathroom has become somewhat of a personal retreat and design style is now the motivating factor behind product selection, material choice and overall aesthetics.”

The latest bathroom trends in 2025 from Grange Design are:

Basins

According to a company statement, well-considered wash zones are top priority in 2025. Working in partnership with all styles of sanitaryware, it added that the most popular taps right now are precision engineered with a host of original design features across the neck, spout and handles for a custom look. Finish is also a key component, it noted, with Chrome remaining the most sought-after finish in the classic and industrial bathroom space, and Matt Black holding steady in more contemporary schemes able to coordinate with modern light fittings, statement mirrors, and designer storage.

Grange Design stated that the rise of the beauty zone has increased the desire for wall mounted basin taps and this has led to a comprehensive range of models. Deck mounted designs remain popular too, it added, however the desire to keep the washbasin clear from clutter has shown that monobloc basin mixers with single lever control are the preferred choice for anyone mounting directly on the surface of the basin. Whereas tall mono basin mixers have become a great alternative to wall mounted and deck mounted taps.

In terms of the latest washbowls, the statement said that white ceramic basins remain a staple choice with the traditional bathroom seeking Heritage-style designs with defining features and a smooth glaze, and more modern schemes opting for circular, square and rectangular countertop basins in a range of neutral colours with matt texture.

Baths

Strong and elegantly styled bathtubs are in high demand this year, it cited, with tailored brassware ensuring a luxurious bathing experience that offers modern functionality and strong sense of self. The company said to look out for floor mounted bath taps if you’re working with a freestanding roll top bath or modern-style soaking tub, as this not only influences the functionality of your bathroom but also its aesthetic appeal. Alternatively, Grange Design stated that industrial-style deck mounted bath/shower mixers have become extremely popular in bathrooms where space is limited as they bring showering into the bathroom where there isn’t enough floor space for a separate enclosure or overhead water supply.

Showers

Style and efficiency are big news in showering this year, it added, as UK homeowners contend with rising water bills rising (Ofwat) and multigenerational households catering to all demographics. As the latest research shows considerable differences in showering habits across each age group, the company said it is energy-efficient and water saving showering solutions like thermostatic valves and eco showerheads, which are the go-to shower upgrade in 2025.
