Heating specialist, Grant UK, has launched a series of online video tutorials, a consumer guide and a technical forum for installers and end users wishing to learn more about biomass boiler technology.
The first series of informative videos comprises three bite-size modules specifically aimed at the end user. The Grant Guide to Biomass explains in a clear and entertaining format what biomass is, the different fuel types that are available, exactly why biomass is carbon neutral and how it is used in heating systems. A second film, The Grant Guide to the domestic Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) tackles the RHI, how payments can be accessed and what paperwork is required to claim payments. For those end users seriously considering installing the technology or who have already purchased a Grant Spira, there is also a Guide to the Practicalities of Owning a Biomass Boiler.
Complementing these videos, a downloadable guide, Living with Biomass, has been produced, featuring the Grant Spira condensing wood pellet (biomass) boiler. The brochure explains the technology, what to expect in terms of cleaning cycles and how to get the most out of the appliance.
The MyGrantUK YouTube channel has been enhanced by featuring five training modules on the installation, commissioning and servicing of the Grant Spira condensing biomass boiler. Homeowners will also be able to view these to further their knowledge of the technology. An online forum, encouraging interaction between Grant’s installer network and the manufacturer’s technical support team has also been launched to promote technical and installation best practice.
Anna Wakefield, marketing manager for Grant UK, said: “When installers and consumers are selecting or installing a Grant biomass appliance, such as the Spira, providing them with the best quality information is all part of our service. Our forum, online films and guides support our commitment to excellent service from an initial enquiry to post-installation support.”
