Vaillant helps installers expand their business offering…

Valliant is offering support to installers looking to learn more about bigger domestic and light commercial system design as a way of expanding their business offering.

Traditionally, there has been little crossover between the domestic and commercial boiler market, however, advancements in heating technology have created the opportunity for some boilers and accessories to be suitable for larger domestic projects, as well as smaller commercial projects. Valliant’s High Output Systems Training is designed to help domestic installers to capitalise on this business opportunity.

Under domestic qualifications, installers can work on appliances up to a rated input of 70KW, meaning domestic heating engineers could expand their service by offering 46KW or even 65KW boilers in a variety of applications.

The free training sessions will be taking place across Vaillant’s nationwide training centres and are aimed at installers who are looking to build on their experience within the domestic field to expand their work into larger domestic installations and then possibly, go on into the commercial sector (subject to obtaining the necessary commercial ACS requirements).

On the course, installers will be able to learn more about Valliant’s product portfolio and the commissioning processes for the ecoTEC range, from initial start up to simple and complex parameter alterations to best suit the requirements of the application.

The course will also include an overview of maintenance requirements and fault finding, in addition to highlighting the pre and post sales service offered by Vaillant’s representatives.
